Perceptive Content: Capture Profile_Re-install_Backup

This article will show how to put the Perceptive Content printing options (capture profiles) in place after receiving a new computer or computer re-image.

This is the path to back-up or restore the inscan.xml file.

If your inscan.xml file wasn't backed up, you can contact the Technology Help Desk to request a copy.

Find the inscan.xml file that was backed up
- If you requested a copy, you will receive an email with the inscan.xml file attached
Right click the inscan.xml file
On the drop down menu, Click Copy
On the Task bar, Click File Explorer
In File Explorer, Double-click: This PC
Double-click: Windows C:
Double-click: Users
Double-click: your username
Double-click: AppData
- AppData, may not be visible in the list because it is a hidden file.
  - Left click: View
  - Left click: Hidden Items (to apply a check mark in front of Hidden Items)
  - AppData will appear in the list
Double-click: Roaming
Double-click: ImageNow
Right Click: Click Paste or Copy
Choose: Copy and Replace
Close: File Explore
