Networking Printing: Determine if the printer is on UW-Stout's print server

Help users determine if the network printer on the UW-Stout Print server
1.  Check the front of the printer for a sticker that designates the name of the printer.   

Examples:

Lanier Printer name   OR   HP Printer name


2. If the sticker is not located on the printer, but it is believed the printer is in on the print server call the Technology Help Desk at ext. 5000 or create a self-service ticket with the following information:
  • Building
  • Room number
  • Model number of printer
The Help Desk should be able determine if the printer is on the network print system.
