Reimage of Faculty or Staff Computer: Getting Ready

Faculty and staff can request a reimage to upgrade to a new operating system or to fix problems


Faculty and staff can request and initiate their own Reimage. Some computers may not meet minimum hardware requirements. There is no charge for a reimage. All reimages of a computer will be done at the Technology Desk on 1st floor Sorensen Hall.

End-user Image Preparation Process

  • Backup all data and files, including the ImageNow inscan.xml (if applicable) and any bookmarks.
    This is the responsibility of the end-user.

  • Plan for at least one full business day without the computer.

  • Identify which software applications need to be reloaded.
    This is the responsibility of the end-user.
