Microsoft Forms: Uploading an image

A summary of how to upload an image or picture to a Microsoft Form using a mobile device or web browser.

Windows

  1. Click on the link of the Microsoft Form you are attempting to complete.
  2. Find and click the Upload File button in the form.

  3. A Windows Explorer box will appear that gives you the option to browse to the location you have the image stored on the computer.

  4. Click on the image file.
  5. Click the Open button.
  6. The file should upload successfully if it meets the requirements of the Microsoft Form.
  7. You should now be able to select Submit if you are ready and have completed all other portions of the form.


macOS

  1. Click on the link of the Microsoft Form you are attempting to complete.
  2. Find and click the Upload File button in the form.

  3. A macOS Finder box will appear that gives you the option to browse to the location you have the image stored on the computer.

  4. Click on the image file.
  5. Click the Open button.
  6. The file should upload successfully if it meets the requirements of the Microsoft Form.
  7. You should now be able to select Submit if you are ready and have completed all other portions of the form.


Android

  1. Click on the link of the Microsoft Form you are attempting to complete.
  2. Find and click the Upload File button in the form.

  3. Choose an action should appear on the bottom of the screen.

  4. Choose Camera if you would like to take a photo at the moment of the document you are trying to upload.
  5. The camera should open, at which point you can take a photo of your document and then select OK or Retry depending on if you would like to attempt the photo again.

  6. Choose Files if you would like to use an already existing photo stored on the phone.
  7. This will allow you to browse and select the photo in it's stored location.

  8. After selecting OK via the Camera method or tapping the photo via the Files method, the file should upload successfully if it meets the requirements of the Microsoft Form.

  9. You should now be able to select Submit if you are ready and have completed all other portions of the form.


iPhone

  1. Click on the link of the Microsoft Form you are attempting to complete.
  2. Find and click the Upload File button in the form.

  3. Photo upload options should appear at the bottom of the screen.

  4. Choose Take Photo if you would like to take a photo at the moment of the document you are trying to upload.
  5. The camera should open, at which point you can take a photo of your document and then select OK or Retry depending on if you would like to attempt the photo again.

  6. Choose Photo Library or Browse if you would like to use an already existing photo stored on the phone.
  7. This will allow you to browse and select the photo in it's stored location.

  8. After selecting Use Photo via the Take Photo method or tapping the photo and selecting Add via the Photo Library or Browse method, the file should upload successfully if it meets the requirements of the Microsoft Form.

  9. You should now be able to select Submit if you are ready and have completed all other portions of the form.
