How to schedule SORH 205 (not for Teams)
The SORH 205 Teams calendar is used only for scheduling a Teams meeting which utilizes the Teams functionality of SORH 205, it is not used by individuals to schedule the room. (Beginning the fall of 2025 SORH 205 room scheduling will be done by Registration and Records via EMS)
Scheduling SORH 205
To schedule SORH 205 contact Lori Sweitzer at sweitzerl@uwstout.edu. Reservations must be made at least three days in advance.
To assure that there is no delay, please adhere to the following criteria when making your request:
- The subject line of the email should be SORH 205 Reservation
- Reservations are allowed in 15 minute increments, with 15 minutes of setup and tear-down time added before and after the event.
(If your event is from 10:00 - 11:00 the room reservation will be from 9:45 - 11:15) - Copy and paste what's below into your email and add/delete the necessary information.

- Is the event for yourself or someone else: Yourself, Someone else
- Event coordinator's name:
- Is the meeting: In Person, TEAMS, or Hybrid
- How many presenters: One Presenter or Number of Multiple Presenters
You will receive an email with the status of your request being confirmed or not.
Once confirmed, an appointment will be made in the SORH Teams calendar.
- If your event is not using Teams for the meeting, the appointment will be made blocking the room in the calendar.
- If your event will be using Teams for the meeting, a placeholder will be put in the SORH 205 calendar with your name, allowing you to schedule your Teams meeting.
- Once you have a confirmation of the room reservation from Lori, you can schedule your Teams meeting. Instructions are at this KB How to schedule a Teams meeting using SORH 205
- Please notify Lori once your Teams meeting has been created with SORH 205 added as a "Required" participant so she can remove the placeholder.
