"Failed to Stop Recording" Error in Kaltura Capture (Mac)

Mac OS users of Kaltura Capture may need to allow screen recording for the Capture program in their System preferences.
If you have a Mac device and are receiving a "failed to stop recording" error when trying to complete your recording, you may not have screen and system audio recording authorized for Kaltura. Follow the directions below to allow access:
  1. Go to System Settings.
  2. Click on Security and Privacy.
  3. Click on Screen & System Audio Recording.
  4. Click the toggle next to Kaltura Capture to allow permission to record your screen and audio. Faculty and staff will need to enable Admin by Request and enter your password to allow access.

    You may need to restart your device for the changes to take effect.
