Papercut: Scanning to SharePoint

How to scan to SharePoint from a PaperCut-enabled printer. These directions only work on PaperCut enabled printers. NOTE: If you do not see the scan option that usually means you do not have access, please submit a helpdesk ticket with the SharePoint site URL.

Scanning a Document 

At the printer, enter your 7-digit ID number and select Login.

Select Scan.

Tap the Scan Action you require, if no scan actions are available, please submit a helpdesk ticket.

Make any necessary adjustments including changing the file name or settings.

Select Start Scanning.

Repeat the above steps to scan another document or select Log Out to log out.

Scans will arrive in the SharePoint site under Documents > In site Library.

First Time Scanning to SharePoint

The first time you scan, you will need to approve PaperCut to access your SharePoint site. To do this:

In your email, locate the PaperCut email with the link Login to SharePoint Online.
Login to SharePoint online email


Click the link and login to SharePoint using your Stout email and password.
You will receive a confirmation.

Your scans will now show up in your SharePoint site under Documents.
