Centralized Course Evaluation (CCE): Department Chair Tasks - Pre-Term
Directions for the two Centralized Course Evaluation (CCE) Department Chair tasks that are due prior to the start of term.
Task 1: Review department courses slated for an evaluation and administration dates; identify and report discrepancies
- Login to Blue. https://uwstout.bluera.com/
If prompted, enter your UW-Stout login credentials. - Click the View Your Course Evaluation Dashboard (see red arrow).
A tile will populate for each course within your department slated for an evaluation. - (optional): To easily find a given course among the tiles for your department:
- Option 1: Enter the course name in the Search window.
- Option 2: To alphabetize the department list, click the down arrow in the Sort by: window.
In the pull-down window, select Subject Name.
- Option 1: Enter the course name in the Search window.
- To see the calendar dates when an evaluation will be administered for any given course, click the three ellipses in the course tile of interest.
Click Manage Settings
A new pop-up window will open. Start and End Dates are listed in the middle. - Report discrepancies to Provost_CourseEvals@uwstout.edu.
Task 2: Opt-out courses from the course evaluation process
- Login to Blue. https://uwstout.bluera.com/
If prompted, enter your UW-Stout login credentials. - Click the View Your Course Evaluation Dashboard. A tile will populate for each course within your department slated for evaluation.
- Enter the course name to be opted out in the Search window.
- Click the three ellipses in the course tile of interest.
Click Manage Settings.
A new pop-up window will open. - Toggle the Opt-in dial from ‘Yes’ to ‘No’.
- Click Update to save your changes.
Note: Instructors are not provided with opt-out access.
