Centralized Course Evaluation (CCE): Department Chair Tasks - Beginning of Term

Directions for Department Chair tasks due near the beginning of the term:

Task 1: Review department courses slated for evaluation, view administration dates, and report discrepancies.

  1. Login to Blue. https://uwstout.bluera.com/

    If prompted, enter your UW-Stout login credentials.

  2. Click the View Your Course Evaluation Dashboard (see red arrow).

    A tile will populate for each course within your department slated for an evaluation.

  3. (optional): To easily find a given course among the tiles for your department:

    • Option 1: Enter the course name in the Search window.

      Enter name of the course in the Search window in Blue

    • Option 2: To alphabetize the department list, click the down arrow in the Sort by: window.

  4. To see the calendar dates when an evaluation will be administered for any given course, click the three ellipses in the course tile of interest.

    Click Manage Settings

    A new pop-up window will open. Start and End Dates are listed in the middle.

  5. Report discrepancies to Provost_CourseEvals@uwstout.edu.

Task 2: Opt-out courses from the course evaluation process

Note: Only Department Chairs are provided with opt-out access; Instructors are not.

  1. Login to Blue. https://uwstout.bluera.com/

    If prompted, enter your UW-Stout login credentials.

  2. Click the View Your Course Evaluation Dashboard. A tile will populate for each course within your department slated for evaluation.

  3. If many tiles are displayed, enter the course name to be opted out in the Search window.

  4. Click the three ellipses in the course tile of interest.

    Click Manage Settings.

    A new pop-up window will open.

  5. To prevent instructors from receiving future emails regarding an opted-out course, click the checkbox by the statement ‘I have finished all my tasks, please stop sending me reminders’.

    Click Update:

    The checkbox should now be grayed out:

  6. Toggle the Opt-in dial from ‘Yes’ to ‘No’. Then, click Update.

    The tile should now indicate the course has been opted out.
