Centralized Course Evaluation (CCE): Instructor Tasks - Evaluation Opening
This knowledgebase article outlines the Centralized Course Evaluation (CCE) instructor tasks that are due at the opening of the evaluation administration period, along with instructions for executing these tasks.
During evaluation ‘open’ administration period:
Task 1: Post in Canvas a direct link and QR code to the evaluation.
- Login to Blue. https://uwstout.bluera.com/
If prompted, enter your UW-Stout login credentials. - Click the View Your Course Evaluation Dashboard (see red arrow).
A tile will populate for each course slated for an evaluation. - To locate a direct link to the course evaluation and the QR code, select a course, click on the QR symbol in the Share Evaluation window.
A new window with direct link to evaluation will populate.
Click on View QR Code
A new window with the QR code will populate.
Task 2: Inform students how to access the course evaluation
- Show students how to access the Canvas posted link and QR code.
Suggestion: If your class is in-person or synchronous online, show the QR code to students immediately prior to provision of in-class time for evaluation completion.
Task 3: Monitor student response rates during the course evaluation open administration period
- Login to Blue. https://uwstout.bluera.com/
If prompted, enter your UW-Stout login credentials. - From the Blue home page, click View Your Course Evaluation Dashboard.
- A tile for each course slated for an evaluation will populate.
The response rate is found in the white circle on each tile. The numbers to the left of the circle provide additional information.
