AirMedia (Android): How to use AirMedia on Android

How to download AirMedia and project to displays from an Android device

Downloading the AirMedia application:

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
  2. On the bottom navigation bar, press "Search."

  3. Press the top search panel, type AirMedia, and press enter.

  4. Press the "Install" button next to AirMedia.

  5. If you get a prompt to install the application, select "Install."

  6. AirMedia should now be installed. To open the AirMedia app, press "open."

How to use the AirMedia application:

  1. Select the search box and enter the IP or hostname for the AirMedia you are trying to connect to.

  2. Select "Share Screen" in the popup window.

  3. A code will appear on the display of the AirMedia. Enter the code on your Android device.

  4. You will now be connected to the AirMedia and sharing your screen. To disconnect, either use the stop screenshare button in the top left (1) or the "Disconnect" button in theĀ AirMedia app (2).
