Video Player: Install the recommended player from Software Center

VLC media player is available via Software Center

Faculty and staff computers are not preinstalled with a media player to view DVDs. It is recommended that users needing to view DVDs on their computer install VLC from Software Center. Installing free video players from the internet can result in the installation of malware.
