PowerPoint: Embedded Videos Not Playing

This fix is for select HP computers having issues playing embedded videos in PowerPoint.
  1. In PowerPoint, select File > Options.

    Options

  2. In left-side menu of the new Options window, select Advanced.

    Advanced Display Preferences

  3. Scroll down to the Display section.

  4. Select Disable hardware graphics acceleration AND Disable Slide Show hardware graphics acceleration.

  5. Click OK to save the changes.
