How to "Forget" the StoutSecure wireless network on a mobile device.

There are times where you will need to "Forget" or disassociate your mobile device from UW-Stouts StoutSecure network. Most often this will need to be done when you have changed your password here on campus. These steps will walk you through that.

To forget StoutSecure on an iOS device

  1. Settings (Gear)

  2. Tap Wi-Fi

  3. Tap StoutSecure

  4. Tap Forget This Network

  5. Click Forget when prompted to forget StoutSecure

  6. Reconnect if so desired

 

To forget StoutSecure on an Android device

  1. Open Android Settings app

  2. Tap Wi-Fi

  3. Tap StoutSecure

  4. Tap Forget

  5. Reconnect if so desired

 

To forget StoutSecure on a Pixel 2, 3 or 4

  1. From a Home Screen, touch and swipe up to display all Apps

  2. Navigate: Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi

  3. Touch and hold the Wi-Fi Network StoutSecure

  4. Tap Forget network

  5. Reconnect if so desired
