UW-Stout KnowledgeBase : Autodesk Updates

Due to security vulnerabilities and infrastructure changes, we will be discontinuing licensing for older versions of Autodesk products (AutoCAD, Maya, Revit, etc.).  This includes all versions prior to 2020 versions. 

To you help you prepare for this change, the 2020 versions of these applications are now available on Software Center (PC) and Self Service (Mac). These new applications will not function until Tuesday, July 21st, but we recommend that you install them in advance to reduce downtime in your work. Beginning on July 21st, all prior applications will cease to function, and the 2020 applications will begin to work, with no changes needed. 

This will not affect student laptops and all affected labs will be updated to support this change.
