A nation-wide internet outage affected some campus phones from 9:20-10:30am on October 4th.
Users of the new VOIP phone system experienced an outage affecting inbound calls beginning at 9:20 AM on Oct 4. The outage was due to a nationwide network outage affecting multiple phone and internet providers caused by a fiber cut in Iowa. Service was restored at 10:30 AM and no further disruptions due to this fiber cut are expected.
