A number of faculty and staff computers (not student laptops) are installed with a version of Windows 10 that requires updates; those required updates will repeatedly fail and then cause the computer to reboot, often several times.
Unfortunately, the only means of addressing this problem is a complete reload of the computer. Users experiencing failed updates and uninitiated reboots can contact the technology help desk and are encouraged to schedule a reinstallation/reimage before April 1. As always, users are strongly encouraged to back up files prior to any service events.
