When attending virtual meetings one may find it helpful to use a headset. Using a headset will improve the virtual meeting experience by isolating your voice from other noise in your environment, removing echo and vocal distortion when you speak, and letting you more easily hear others. A headset often gives you mute and volume control right on the cord which is also helpful. When looking for a headset you will want to look for a noise-cancelling mic and, for ease of use, a USB connection. If you will be wearing the headset for many hours during the day, slightly larger units with padded headbands and larger headset speakers may be more comfortable to you.
