Zoom: How to Create or Consolidate a UW-Stout Zoom Account

How to create a Zoom account with your UW-Stout email address or consolidate a previous account.

Creating a UW-Stout Zoom Account

  1. Go to https://wisconsin-edu.zoom.us
  2. Click Sign In.

  3. Choose UW-Stout as the organization and log in using your UW-Stout credentials.

Consolidating Existing Accounts

If you previously used your UW-Stout email address with Stout's previous Zoom account, you will need to switch your account.
  1. Go to wisconsin-edu.zoom.us

  2. Click on Sign In
  3. Select UW-Stout
  4. Log in using your UW-Stout Credentials.
  5. Confirm your Stout email address.
  6. Zoom will send you an email.

  7. Go to your email and open email from no-reply@zoom.us with Subject: Confirm the requested change to your Zoom account. Click on Switch to the New Account.

  8. This will take you back to Zoom. Accept the invitation to switch to the new UW-System Zoom Account. Click on I Acknowledge and Switch.

  9.  The process to switch your account will begin. This may take a little while.

  10. You will get a confirmation email, notifying you that your account has been switched.
  11. Return to wisconsin-edu.zoom.us to login to Zoom.
