MS Access Virtual Desktop: Saving to the Local Computer (Mac)

How to save MS Access databases to your local Mac desktop while using the Virtual Desktop application.

  1. In the top left, select File > Save As.

  2. Unless otherwise instructed, select Access Database (*.accdb) then click Save As again.

    Click Save As again

  3. Click the drop down arrow next to This PC.

  4. Select Remote Desktop Virtual Drive on RDWebClient.

  5. Save to the Downloads folder.

  6. If prompted, ignore the warning pop-up by clicking OK.

  7. Your saved databases will now be accessible in your local Downloads folder.
