Infinite webpage loading (Windows)

Guide on how to fix an issue where webpages will load infinitely on a Windows computer.

On a Windows computers you may encounter an issue where a web page may repeatedly reload. To fix this issue, try the following steps below.

  1. Close your browser
  2. Click Start
  3. Click All apps
  4. In the search bar, type Settings
  5. Click Settings
  6. On the new Settings window, click Time & Language
  7. Click Date & Time
  8. Make sure the Time zone drop down is set to your current timezone. If you are on campus, it should be (UTC-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada). If it is not set correctly, click on the drop down and click on the correct time zone. 
  9. On the same window, scroll down to the Additional Settings section
  10. Click Sync now

The web page you are trying to access should now load correctly. If you are still having issues, you can open a ticket through our Self-Service Portal.
