Autodesk Products: Restart Access Error
Students and staff members are able to get access to Autodesk software on a yearly basis. If your license expires, you will receive an error telling you that you need to "Restart Access" in Autodesk Desktop Applications. To resolve that error, follow the steps below.
- Go to autodesk.com and log in with your Stout Email and Password Credentials.
- Once logged in, you will get a message saying that you need to renew your student access. Click on that message to reactivate your student license.
- During the reactivation process, it will ask you to enter information related to UW Stout and your year of graduation. Be sure to enter this in as accurately as possible.
- After your information has been entered in. You will click Submit. This completes the reactivation process.
NOTE: It can take up to 24 hours for the error to disappear from your Autodesk app. If the error persists after 24 hours, contact or visit the Technology Help Desk in Sorensen Hall.
