Campus Calendar Administration Review /Approve from Pending
How to review and approve an event for Campus Calendar using the Administration Localist platform, from a pending queue.
How to Review Approve from pending
- Log in to https://uwstout.enterprise.localist.com/admin
- Click Log in with UW-Stout SSO
- This will open the new window for the Localist Platform for the Administration of the Campus Calendar. To Review or Approve a Pending Event, you will use the menu on the left side of the screen. Look for icon and words Events.
- Click the Drop Down Arrow to show the menu options.
- Click the Pending (###) , a new window will open. This will list all the events that are Pending in queue.
- You can Click on the event title, if you see it. You can choose to find it by using the "filter" options.
- To "filter" the list to find the event you want, use the right hand side of the screen. There is a "text box" with the words Refine Results. Click in the "text box" you want to use to filter the events. Note: you can use multiple "text boxes" to filter.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Refine Results section, Click Refine, to apply the filters to all the events.
- Once you see the title of the event you want to review or approve, Click on the title in the Name column.
- This will open a new window. The event name is now displayed on the top portion of the screen.
- To the right of the event name on the screen, are options to edit for this event. These are covered in another section.
- Below the name of the event are five different tabs to edit the event. The screen starts on the tab titled 1. Basic Information. Review each Text Box.
- To change information, Click in the text box you want to change. Type over the information you do not want. Continue through the whole page.
- Click Save on the bottom right hand corner to keep any changes made.
- Scroll up to the top of the screen, where the title of the event is displayed. Click on the second tab, 2. Details. Review and edit the information by scrolling down the screen. Click in the text box where information should be changed. Type over the information to change.

- Scroll up to the top of the screen, where the title of the event is displayed. Click on the third tab, 3. Tickets & Registration. Note: The check box titled "Use Localist Register", is not used. Review and edit the information by scrolling down the screen. Click in the text box where information should be changed. Type over the information to change.
- Click Save on the bottom right hand corner to keep any changes made.
- Scroll up to the top of the screen, where the title of the event is displayed. Click on the fourth tab, 4. Attendee Engagement. Click to de-select any options. These options are not used.
- Click Save on the bottom right hand corner to keep any changes made.
- Scroll up to the top of the screen, where the title of the event is displayed. Click on the fifth tab, 5. Publish Review and edit the information by scrolling down the screen. In the text box Visibility, make sure this is set to public. Click in the box to select "Public" if that is not displayed.
- In the text box Status, this should be set to "Live". All other options in the drop down will alter the event.
- In the text box In Calendar Promotion, the drop down options are "Homepage" or "Academic Calendar".
- Below the text box are two check boxes that are not used. Do not Click in those boxes.
- On the bottom right of the screen,Click Save.
- If you have completed all reviews, Click Save & Publish
