Wisconsin Integrated Software Catalog (WISC) Eligibility: Purchasing Software
Eligibility to purchase software through the Wisconsin Integrated Software Catalog (WISC) spss personal grad graduate master masters
WISC lets current students, faculty, and staff of the University of Wisconsin and Wisconsin Technical College Systems purchase popular software packages at substantial discounts.
Students who are enrolled for the current semester are eligible to buy software from the WISC site. Enrollment in previous or future semesters does not qualify for WISC purchases. Eligibility begins the first day of an enrolled UW-Stout course and ends on the final day of that course; eligibility is based on course dates, not semester. In-progress (IP) credits do not qualify a student for WISC purchases. WISC must receive payment prior to the last day of the term for eligibility requirements to be met and download deadlines are in place for many titles (meaning software must be downloaded with a certain time period after purchase). Stout does not have the authority to intercede in WISC policy or transactions nor the policies of the software vendors; please read carefully the license agreements and purchasing guidelines for each software title prior to purchase. Support is not available through WISC; technical questions should be directed to the Technology Help Desk.
Only faculty and academic staff members actively under contract and currently in the payroll system are eligible to purchase from the WISC site. Adjunct instructors whose payments are made to a corporation or other business entity are not eligible for purchase from WISC. Future and past contracts do not qualify a faculty or academic staff member for WISC purchases.
Please note that active UW-Stout students, faculty and staff qualify for use and installation of Microsoft Office 365 at no charge.
