Asset Management -- Loaner laptops not provided for faculty or staff by LIT
Loaner laptops for faculty and staff are the responsibility of the department
Learning and Information Technology and the Technology Help Desk does not stock or supply laptops or computers for departmental use. Departments are responsible for providing appropriate computer hardware, loaners included, to faculty and staff in need of computers. Information on the purchasing of computers is available from Procurement and Materials Management.
Individuals can view their assigned computers by logging into the Self-Service help desk and clicking the “Inventory Audit” link in the Self Service sidebar. Computer equipment, like all state resources, is the property of the University and the State. Only through campus surplus sales can ownership of assets be transferred to individuals.
