KeyServer -- KeyAccess message KA-120
KeyAcess message KA-120 when launching a KeyServer application
NOTE: KeyServer is only found on 2016 laptops and older. Any re-imaged laptop will not have KeyServer and can instead use VPN to connect.
When launching a KeyServer-controlled program, KeyAccess tries to contact the KeyServer to obtain a license. If after many attempts the KeyServer does not answer these requests, KeyAccess will post this message: KeyAccess message KA-120.
- Confirm your computer is connected to the internet and if you are off campus that you are connected to UW-Stout's VPN.
- Reboot and reconnect to the internet or VPN
If after rebooting the KA-120 appears again, please Contact the Technology Help Desk or stop by for assistance.
