Perceptive Content: Routing Options
This article explains the differences between the routing options available in Perceptive Content: Route Forward, Route Up (Route Back), and Route Anywhere. These options are available in both the Perceptive Content Desktop Client and the Perceptive Experience Web Client.
Route Forward:
- Displays a predefined list of workflow queues that the user frequently routes documents to, including peers in the same group.
- Commonly referred to as the “short list”.
- This list can be updated upon user request.
Perceptive Content Desktop Client:
Perceptive Experience Web Client:
Route Up (Route Back):
- Known as "Route Up" in the Desktop Client and "Route Back" in the Web Client.
- Shows a history of workflow queues the document has previously been routed through.
- Use this option to return a document to a prior workflow queue or user.
Perceptive Content Desktop Client:
Perceptive Experience Web Client:
Route Anywhere:
- Also known as the “long list”.
- Displays all workflow queues within the current workflow session (for example, all queues in L_Forms).
- This list is not customizable.
