User deleted clutter folder and is not receving messages - sender gets 5.2.0 Cannot get ID from name error
Emails that should be delivered to clutter not received because user deleted the clutter folder
This issue only impacts users who have deleted their Clutter folder; these users are unable to receive email messages intended for the Clutter folder. Senders may receive a "5.2.0 Cannot get ID from name" Non-Delivery Receipt error message. As a workaround, affected users may temporarily disable the "Clutter" feature by performing the following steps:
- Access Outlook on the web.
- Click on the "Settings" icon (gear icon in the upper right hand menu).
- Click "My App Settings."
- Click "Mail."
- Click "Clutter."
- Uncheck "Separate items identified as clutter."
Please note that simply deleting the Clutter folder does not disable the Clutter feature. The steps above must be followed. The above steps only need to be taken by those experiencing impact and then email messages will be received as expected.
