Blackboard Collaborate Ultra - How to Exit a Session
This article explains how to exit a Blackboard Collaborate Session.
Chrome is the preferred browser for use with Ultra as it provides the fullest functionality with the tools. If you do not have Chrome installed on your computer, you can get if from Software Center.
When you exit a Blackboard Collaborate Ultra session, you will no longer be able to communicate with other participants or have access to any of the tools in the interface.
To exit your session, open the technical panel by clicking on the icon that looks like three lines in the upper left-hand corner of the session screen.
Once the technical panel opens, go to the bottom of the panel and click on the Leave Session button.
|After you click the Leave Session button, you will be asked to give feedback on the audio and video in the session. You may give a rating and submit it, or you may skip this part, if you prefer.||
If you want to, you can re-enter the meeting if you have not submitted a rating or skipped that step. To reenter the session, click on the “Oops, take me back” button. This button will be located in the upper left-hand corner of the screen where you originally clicked on the three lines.
After you have left the session you will get a message on your screen that you have left and can close your browser. Close your browser window to finalize leaving the session.
