Recover deleted emails from Office 365 Outlook (Web App)

Recover recently-deleted emails delete

Recently-deleted emails can be recovered via the Outlook Web App (OWA) (not the Outlook desktop client) using the following steps:

  1. Log into the Outlook Web App.

  2. In the left navigation pane, select Deleted Items.

  3. Select Recover items deleted from this folder

  4. Note that you are now in Recoverable Items.

  5. If you would like to restore a single email, right click the email and select Restore.

  6. If you wish to restore multiple emails, select the checkbox next to each of the emails you'd like to restore.

  7. Click the Restore button found in the center of the screen. 

  8. The email will now be placed back in you inbox chronologically.

* Unfortunately items not shown in "Deleted items" are no longer recoverable.
