Mac rejects new domain password

After you change your domain password, your domain-bound Mac may reject your new password at the next boot.

On a Mac that is bound to the domain (i.e. a Faculty/Staff Mac):

When you change your domain (UW-Stout email) password, your Mac may reject the new password the next time you boot.  If this happens, use your previous password.  Once your computer has logged in and reconnected to the domain, it will update so that you can use your new password on all subsequent boots.

Also, after a domain password change, you will receive a message that your login keychain cannot be unlocked.  Select Update Keychain Password and use your previous password to unlock the keychain for updating. You should not receive this error on subsequent startups.
