Scheduling time in Millennium 322B using Outlook
This article explains how to schedule time in Millennium 322B
Room 322B in Millennium Hall is a room dedicated to multimedia recording and editing. Room 322B is not a meeting room or classroom. The room is open to UW-Stout faculty and staff. It can also be used by students employed by faculty or staff if they are working on projects for that faculty or staff member. 322B should not be considered as a conference room or student lab.
You are now able to schedule the room for use by following the instructions below.
To get started, open Outlook and go the the calendar area.
Once your calendar area has opened, click on the New Meeting button.
When the New Meeting window opens, go the far right side and click on the Rooms button.
When the list of rooms opens, type in "mlnm" in the search bar.
This should take you to the area where the rooms in Millennium Hall are listed. Click on MLNM 322B to highlight it.
Once it is highlighted, click on the Rooms button at the bottom of the window. This should make MLNM 322B appear in the box.
After the name appears in the box, click on the OK button.
Now click on the Scheduling Assistant button. This will enable you to check the availability of the room.
After you have verified that the room will be open, enter the date and time you wish to use the room. It is recommended that you reserve time in one or two hour blocks so you will have time to complete your projects.
After you specify your date and time, click on the Send button.
After you click on the Send button,you should get an email confirmation that the meeting has been accepted.
Things to keep in Mind:
- Scheduling the room only schedules the room. If you will need assistance or training in the use of the tools in the room, please contact the Instructional Technology Consultant for your college.
- You may also contact Rich Berg or Dave Boisen to schedule the room if you are having trouble scheduling it through Outlook
- The room is available from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
