ImageStout - Create New Document or Re-index a page

Creating a new document from a document already in ImageNow

Create a new document from a document in ImageNow or re-index a page.

Activate the thumbnails pane if needed:  ImageStout - Thumbnails (How to Activate)

Select the page or pages that need to be moved to a new document, then select the "new document" icon.


The copy document dialog box appears. There are a few options here when re-indexing the new document.

Once the adjustments have been made choose "OK" the dialog box will disappear and the new document will be created. (Please see below for step by step instructions)


Choose an Application Plan if needed, leave blank if not needed.



Adjusting the Index keys - at least one index key needs to be adjusted.  If not, the new document will append to the current document.



If the new document needs to go to a workflow queue, that can be select here.  If not, leave blank and uncheck the "Send to workflow queue".



The page(s) that are being created in the new document can automatically be removed from the current document, if needed.  If not, leave the box next to "Remove from original document" blank.



When finished, please choose OK, the new document is created and the dialog box will disappear.
