An unknown error has occurred. Please save your document and restart your application.

Hyperion Printing Error

Some users printing from Hyperion receive an error: "An unknown error has occurred. Please save your document and restart your application." or "Internet Explorer has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." The Export process will enable a user to create a PDF file that can then be printed.

Export to PDF from Hyperion

  1. Process the desired report
  2. In the preview window, click File -> Export -> Section...

    Export from File menu in Hyperion

  3. Click the "Save as type:" drop-down and select PDF (*.pdf)

    Select PDF file type to Export from Hyperion

  4. Choose a file location and click "Save". The PDF can then be retrieved from that location and opened with Adobe Acrobat to print.
