2 Step: "Additional identity proofing is required"
Select systems are now required to have Duo users proofed.
- If you see this error message, you will need to go through Stout's identity proofing procedure. For this procedure, you will need to visit the Technology Helpdesk with a government-issued photo ID (ex. driver's license or campus ID) and your 2-Step device.
- Identity proofing is used as another step of identification to ensure you are the person using your 2-Step device and is only required for select, high-risk systems.
- After going through the proofing process, it is recommended that a browser cache and cookie clear is completed. Some web browsers will not recognize that you have gone through the proofing step: Clearing Browser Cache and Cookies
