Epson BrightLink: Accessing OneDrive

When using the Epson Brightlink projector, you will find that your files are not connected to the File Explorer. Since this is a shared classroom device, we do not advise connecting your OneDrive to this computer. This tutorial will walk you through accessing your OneDrive documents in a secure way.

It is recommended that you use Google Chrome when accessing OneDrive. The default settings of the BrightLink does not display Google Chrome on the taskbar or desktop. The application is already on the computer and you can access it by searching for it in the Start menu.

Pin Google Chrome to the taskbar once you have accessed it. This will prevent you from having to repeat this process in the future when you log into the system.

Accessing OneDrive

1. To begin, launch Google Chrome and go to the UW-Stout logins page. Click on the Email link to go to the Outlook webmail client.

2. In the upper left corner of the screen, click on the waffle icon.

3. In the menu, select OneDrive.

4. You will see your files, as well as files that have been shared with you.

5. To open and edit the file, click on the three dots next to the file name and select Open > Open in Browser or Open > Open in App. Changes made in the document will be automatically saved to your OneDrive.

6. If you would like to edit the document and not have those changes saved in your OneDrive, you can download the file. To download, click on the three dots next to the file name and select Download. Any changes made in this file will not be saved.
