Restoring deleted items in Canvas
This document will outline the process for an instructor to restore an item that has been deleted from a Canvas course.
To restore items that have been deleted in a Canvas course, navigate to your course home page and at the end of the URL type: /undelete
See example URL below:
https://uwsto.instructure.com/courses/140900/undelete
This will take you to the Restore Deleted Items page as shown below. You will see the item name, item type, date of creation and the date last updated. Clicking on the restore button and confirming you want to restore, should place the item back in the original spot in your course.
Note: Restored items will likely need to be republished in order to be seen by students again, and some data may have been lost during the restoration process.
