Office 365 (Windows): How to Repair

This document goes over how to repair office 365.

Repairing Office 365

Before starting the process, make sure to close out all Microsoft office applications.
  1. On the Windows Start icon, right-click to bring a menu up, and click the Settings button.

  2. Within the Windows Settings window, click the Apps option.

    In the Windows settings window, click on apps.

  3. Scroll down the apps list until you find Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus - en-us and click on it.
  4. Click the Modify Button.

    Scroll through the list of apps until you find Microsoft office 365 and click on it. Click the Modify Button that appears underneath it.

  5. Once the Office 365 Repair window opens, make sure the Online Repair option is selected and click the repair button.

    Select the Online Repair option and click the repair button.
The process may take some time to complete and ask you to close apps if it is having issues. If you are still experiencing issues, contact the Technology Helpdesk at 715-232-5000.
