Perceptive Content: Uploading/Printing Documents to the Server
A common use of Perceptive Content is the uploading (a.k.a. printing) of documents into the server so that they can be routed, viewed, or archived. This article will show you the basic steps to getting started with Perceptive Content printing.
- Install the Perceptive Content: Desktop Client
- Uploading documents is only available on the Desktop version of Perceptive Content.
- Set up your Capture Profiles.
- Capture Profiles determine your print settings, such as the drawer your document goes to and what document key information you can enter.
- Specific instructions for setting up different capture profiles can be found here:
- Open the document you wish to upload and click "Print" (in some programs, it is File>Print or Ctrl P).
- Choose the ImageNow Printer from the list of available printers.
- Click Print.
- Choose your Capture Profile and click OK.
- Enter your document keys.
- Click Save.
