macOS Sierra: VPN change required and considerations prior to updating

macOS Sierra was released September 20th; users who update will need to create a new VPN connection for off-campus use of some campus software
Prior to updating to MacOS Sierra, Apple users are advised that campus software applications have not yet been tested on Sierra and so cannot be guaranteed to continue to function. In addition, Sierra ends support for the current VPN protocol; a new VPN connection will need to be set up.
