Canvas: Logging into the Canvas Student Mobile App
Use the Canvas Mobile App to actively engage in class when you cannot be in front of a computer. Once you have downloaded the app, you are able to find your school and enter into your Canvas Dashboard to see your courses and complete your work.
1. Once you have downloaded the Canvas Student Mobile App from your mobile app store, open the Canvas Student App by tapping on the student icon.
2. Click on the Find my school button to locate your institution.
3. Type in University of Wisconsin and look for University of Wisconsin-Stout in the institutions that appear. Select University of Wisconsin-Stout and hit Go.
4. A University of Wisconsin System page will appear. Select for your organization, UW-Stout, from the drop down menu, click on Done, and select Go.
5. Once you see the UW-Stout login page, enter your Stout Username and Password. Select Sign In button once completed.
7. You will enter into your Canvas Dashboard where you will see the courses that you are enrolled in.
