Zoom Implementation

University of Wisconsin System has licensed Zoom online meetings for all UW students, staff, and instructors.

UW-Stout has both Teams and Zoom as web conferencing options.  Teams will continue to be the primary web conferencing tool for administrative and business meetings, but Zoom is available in Canvas as well as Teams. Instructors will have the option to use Teams or Zoom for their classes, but are encouraged to be consistent and use their preferred tool throughout all their courses for a better student experience.

Please review this document to review unique features of each tool and determine the best fit for your web conferencing needs. Microsoft Teams and Zoom
