How to connect a Crestron Connect Adapter ("puck") to an AirMedia

This KB show how to connect a Crestron Connect Adapter ("puck") to an AirMedia, and outlines minor troubleshooting.
The Crestron Connect Adapter, or "puck", is a device that is plugged into a laptop and utilizes wireless transmission of audio and video signals to an AirMedia receiver without the need for software or a connection code.
  1. Turn on the room's monitor.

  2. Plug the puck into a DisplayPort Alt mode compatible USB-C port on your device. It should work just like a docking station.

  3. After a few seconds the Present/Pause - (Screenshare) button will turn green, indicating that the puck is connected.  You should see your laptop image on the monitor.
    1. The Connect Camera/Mic - (Peripherals) button will turn blue.

    2. If your image doesn't appear on the monitor try unplugging the puck, wait 5 seconds, and plug it back in.
    3. If that doesn't work, try unplugging the puck and rebooting your laptop.
    4. If it still doesn't work, call the Help Desk at x5000 (715-232-5000)

  4. Open Teams/Zoom and start/join your meeting.

  5. To connect the microphone and camera of the conferencing system, push and hold the blue Connect Camera/Mic- (Peripherals) button for 2 seconds.
