Country-Specific Regulations
Laws and regulations are in effect that restrict and/or prohibit U.S. persons from traveling to or engaging in transactions with specific countries. Economic embargoes, trade sanctions programs, export controls, and anti-boycotting laws are all forms of restrictions that vary in scope depending on the country and are subject to change over time. Find the latest list through the U.S. Treasury Department.
All university faculty, staff, or students traveling to these countries must consult with their LIT Consultant prior to departure to understand if any restrictions apply to items you may wish to bring.
