How to obtain Microsoft Project or Visio for a faculty or staff member
There are many factors to consider in the cost and licensing of Project and Visio. Microsoft Project and Visio are not covered under covered under our current campus license agreement with Microsoft and must be purchased.
The software team can help departments and end users obtain the correct licensing. To start the process of obtaining a quote for the software, please begin by creating a self-service ticket requesting Project or Visio.
In self-service request include:
- Name of user and their department
- How software will be used (Instructional or for internal administrative use)
Note: Non-teaching-staff do not qualify for use of DreamSpark software so per the campus' Microsoft license (MPSA agreement) an annual license fee, payable by the department, will be required. Prices change frequently so a self-service ticket is required to start the quote process so the team can provide a current cost per title.
