Repeated lockouts of UW-Stout account (faculty and staff)
The most common cause of repeated lockouts is a saved, old password on a mobile device connecting to the eduroam wireless network.
Users who are experiencing repeated lockouts are encouraged to "forget," or disconnect from, eduroam on all mobile devices (phones, iPads, etc.) and reconnect using their current password.

If lockouts continue, please contact the Technology Helpdesk for further investigation.
Locked accounts can be unlocked at password.uwstout.edu.
The lockout policy applies an automatic screen saver lock on all computers that remain idle for longer than 30 minutes. Utilizing presentation settings can prevent the screen saver lock while presenting. [Link for document 78207 is unavailable at this time] . Apple computers automatically recognize many software applications in presentation mode and in most cases respond without user intervention. Please contact the Technology Helpdesk with questions.
