SharePoint: Who is this SharePoint site's owner?
If you are in a SharePoint site, and you see something that needs attention, correction, or you would like to add content, you need to know who has the access required to help. This article shows you how to find the owner(s) of any SharePoint site with just a click of a button.
Who Owns This Site?
- Navigate to the SharePoint site.
- From the site's homepage, click the gear icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
- Select Site permissions from the Settings menu.
- The Permission groups will appear in place of the Settings menu. Click to expand the Site owners group. The owners will differ from site to site, so this is the best way to find out who they are
