This service is responsible for the protection of campus data and the integrity of campus computer systems

Description:

Services and tools that safeguard the University’s computing resources and data. LIT provides services such as secure desktop configuration, authentication systems, antivirus software, firewalls, encryption and network monitoring.  Security configurations for systems can be custom configured to meet the specific needs of complex highly secure systems.

For questions about current security practices, to request and evaluation of IT security practices, or to request custom security for a system email infosec@uwstout.edu

Service Level Expectation:

Security systems on campus will meet or exceed all governing laws and policies.  While meeting and exceeding these laws and policies UW-Stout security systems will strive to as minimally as possible impact the effectiveness of the campus community to meet their goals.
