Where on campus Adobe Acrobat Reader is installed and licensing information

Adobe Acrobat Reader is an application developed by Adobe Systems for viewing, printing and annotating PDF (Portable Document Format) files.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is free to download.  However, campus licensing gives us access to Acrobat DC.  Acrobat DC offers all of the functionality of Acrobat Reader, and adds the ability to create, edit, convert, digitally sign, encrypt, export and publish PDF files.  We recommend you use Acrobat DC.  

How to get this software if you are a student:  Adobe Acrobat DC (not Reader) is installed by default on student laptops.  

How to get this software if you are a faculty member on a PC:  It is installed by default on faculty and staff computers.  It can also be installed through Software Center.
How to get this software if you are a faculty member on a Mac:  Acrobat DC can be installed through Self Service.  If you are a member of the named user group, you can use the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application to install Acrobat DC.
