Outlook (Mac): Opening Shared Folders

Once a folder is shared, the recipient will need to open the folder. This article walks through this process for the Apple version of the Outlook Desktop App.
  1.  In the Outlook desktop app, select File > Open > Other User's Folder....

    File > Open

  2. In the window that opens, type in the name or username of the folder's owner. Select the correct user, ensure that the Folder Type is Inbox, and select Open.

  3. The new folder will now be visible from the navigation pane.
