LinkedIn Learning: Sharing Links

You can share videos or courses in LinkedIn Learning with other UW-Stout Users.

Sharing Links to Videos

Log into LinkedIn Learning and browse to the video or course that you want to share.

If you want to share a course, click on the first video in the course.

If you want to share a specific video, click on the individual video.
Highlight and copy the URL
Paste the URL in the environment where you want to share it. (Canvas, Document, etc.) This link includes our specific school account code at the end.
To route students to Stout's Identity Provider you can add the following at the end of the URL that you copied: &auth=true

Example: https://www.linkedin.com/learning/how-to-use-linkedin-learning/advance-your-skills-with-linkedin-learning?u=42313033 &auth=true

The original link will still work without adding the &auth=true at the end, but it will not take them directly to Stout's Login page. They will be directed to a LinkedInLearning home page.

Embedding videos in LinkedIn Learning is possible, but it is limited. If you choose to embed your videos, there is a 5 video monthly limit.

Log into LinkedIn Learning and browse to the video or course that you want to share.
On the top right corner of the video window, click on the Share Icon. Click on Embed.
Click on Copy. This will copy the code that you will need to paste into your online environment such as Canvas.
